His
sponsor Diana Cowan visited The Gambia in 2006 and whilst crossing on the
ferry heard two small English boys saying that they were going to save
some of their pocket money to help other children in The Gambia.
With
this in mind, Diana decided to stop smoking and with the money she saved
decided to sponsor Famara & Bakary’s education.
In
2007 Diana took early retirement and now lives in Turkey.
