His twin brother is Sanna Camara

Their Mother Kumba Colley died six months after the twins were born and the father returned to Guinea Bissau leaving the children with Kumba’s brother Antou Colley.

Sainey has been treated with local medicine for his suspected rickets and there does appear to be an improvement in the bowing of his legs.

We have asked our agents in Bwiam to see that the uncle takes the children to the local hospital for a prognosis. We have explained to the uncle that Brian and Jane Ingram have given a one off amount of money for the child’s treatment.

If the hospital in Bwiam can treat the child we will get a costing BUT it appears that the main treatment is better diet – we will have to wait and see. If treatment is available, but in Banjul, then we will arrange for the child to be seen and get a prognosis and costs for treatment.
