Can you help to
provide teachers in The Gambia with English skills and teaching aids to
improve their skills and teaching delivery?
Help where it is
really needed and have a break in a warm country with amazingly friendly
people. You will probably get much more out of this break than you
actually put in!
GETSuk
requires a wide range of helpers & teachers to assist in the making
of teaching support materials as well as helping in all of the GETS
run schools.
Although
no remuneration is available for teachers & teaching volunteers
- GETS staff in
The Gambia and UK trustees, support, advise & arrange
mutually convenient rotas.

If
you are visiting Gambia, please consider joining GTS and using GTS services
while you are in Gambia, visit our projects, visit our Bar & Restaurant
in Kololi & consider staying at the self catering accommodation we
have available.

Reasonably
priced accommodation is available to rent if required. The GTS
restaurant provides volunteers with cost priced food &
a place to meet up with all of the GTS staff in a pleasant and relaxed
setting surroundings
All
volunteers working in any of our schools must have a current
Police
Check document, the
cost varies, but is approximately £10.

Tourists
visiting The Gambia can also arrange to visit our schools and spend
a couple of days of their holiday helping in a classroom - this often
leads to a longer stay in the future and provides invaluable support. Contact
