Active volunteers needed

Volunteers to fund raise are desperately needed. The aim is to have established *Area Representatives* for fund raising all over the UK and in other countries too eventually. But even undertaking a once a year or one-off event for GETSuk is of equal value and appreciated, be it proceeds from a car boot sale or from running the London Marathon! All efforts will be posted on the website and every penny used for educational purposes. *Fund Raising ideas and offers of help* are welcomed. Please contact Shirley if you have any fundraising ideas.

Help is also needed to encourage membership of GETSuk - for just £10 per year (which is worth £12.80 if gift aided.) A large membership bank brings with it a wide range of voluntary expertise and the income greatly assists with vital forward planning.

Varied assistance is needed from time to time including:

Administrative assistance
Printing and stationary offers
Web-page expertise
Securing Sponsorship deals
Promotional expertise
Financial expertise
Graphic designing
Free space in shipping crates
Storage and transportation of goods to be shipped
Production of a bi-annual newsletter for members

Area Representatives

We aim at having an area rep in every county of the UK and County reps world wide. Area reps are local contacts for GETSuk & will help to add members & promote and support active fund raisers.

Fund Raising Ideas

There are many ways of raising funds from picture board appeals in the work place, charity parties, reunions, quiz nights, sponsored events, car boot sales, etc. EVERY £1 raised goes 10x further in Gambia - please share your ideas with us OR better still fund raise on our behalf!
